How SLTP handles contact and request data

This notice explains how information submitted through the SLTP website is processed.

Data collected in the first contact

The form may collect company, contact name, role, email, preferred channel, request type, service model, plant location, urgency, mold ID, project reference, issue type and a written description. It also records the landing address and campaign parameters when present.

The first-contact form does not accept files or file links. Drawings, photographs, videos, reports and other technical documentation are exchanged later through a channel agreed with ITM, normally after confidentiality requirements have been clarified.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is used to register and answer the enquiry, perform an initial scope review, identify the appropriate SLTP operating model, coordinate follow-up and maintain the necessary commercial and technical record. The legal basis is the requested pre-contractual action, the consent expressed by submitting the form and, where applicable, ITM's legitimate interest in following up a business enquiry.

Submitting the form does not authorize diagnosis, engineering, repair or warranty work. Corrective work requires separate scope confirmation and written approval.

Chinese text translation

Free-text descriptions submitted through the Chinese form may be sent to the OpenAI API to prepare an English working translation for the ITM team. The original Chinese text is registered first and retained for verification. A translation failure never prevents registration of the original enquiry.

Recipients, systems and confidentiality

Authorized Moldes ITM personnel and the hosting, email, Google Workspace and translation providers required to operate the service may process the information. The original lead may be stored in a private Google Sheets register and sent to an internal ITM mailbox. A confirmation may be sent to the requester.

For sensitive projects, an NDA and a suitable transfer channel can be agreed before detailed technical documentation is exchanged.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their applicable contractual and legal safeguards. Do not include confidential drawings, customer data or sensitive technical packages in the initial description.

Retention

Enquiry data is retained for the period needed to answer and manage the request and afterwards for applicable legal obligations and reasonable business records. Data that is no longer necessary is deleted or restricted.

Website measurement

Google Analytics 4 is prepared but remains fully inactive while no valid measurement ID is configured. If activated, it will load only after the visitor accepts analytics cookies. Rejecting does not restrict navigation. No personal data or technical description is sent as an analytics event. See the cookie policy.
