SLTP stands for Spanish Local Technical Partner. It is ITM's local after-sales technical support service for injection molds built by Chinese manufacturers and delivered to Spain or Europe.
SLTP gives your export, project and after-sales teams a trusted technical capability close to the mold, without requiring your own workshop or service team in Spain.
This is a real engineering partnership. Your team contributes the original mold knowledge. ITM contributes local diagnosis, precision moldmaking, repair, fitting, injection molding and validation experience. Together we compare the viable routes before deciding where each task should be performed.
A component may be manufactured in China and imported for fitting and injection validation in Spain. Welding, machining, modification or remanufacture may be completed locally when that reduces lead time or total cost. The best solution can also combine both workshops. The decision is based on technical risk, timing and total delivered cost.

After approximately 100,000 parts, flash appeared in several cavities. ITM inspected the mold and documented the affected areas in Spain.
Welding and new inserts were compared by lead time, cost and technical risk. The original manufacturer selected local welding.
ITM completed disassembly, localized welding, EDM restoration and finishing within the authorized scope.
Photographic and video evidence was returned to the manufacturer. The European customer formally accepted the repair.

The objective is the best overall solution for the manufacturer, not to force all the work into one country.
SLTP is Spain-based. Support outside Spain is subject to prior review and arrangement.
For On Demand, diagnosis, engineering study and preparation of the proposed solution are billed by the hour. Under Warranty and Partner agreements, the diagnostic report and technical proposal are included within the agreed service fee. Repair, modification, components, transport and other execution costs are scoped and approved separately.
